Frequently Asked Questions
1. Will this cartridge work with my printer model?
Each product listing includes a full list of compatible printer models. If you're unsure, browse our Compatible Cartridges collection and use the search or filter to find cartridges matched to your printer. We stock consumables for HP, Canon, Brother, Samsung, Lexmark, Pantum, and Konica Minolta printers.
2. How many pages will this cartridge print?
Page yield (the number of pages a cartridge can print) is listed on each product page. As a general guide:
- Standard yield ink cartridges: typically 150–300 pages
- High-yield (XL) ink cartridges: typically 400–1,000+ pages
- Standard yield toner cartridges: typically 1,000–3,000 pages
- High-yield toner cartridges: typically 3,000–10,000+ pages
Yields are based on 5% page coverage (ISO standard). Actual yield varies depending on print density, document type, and printer settings.
3. Is this an original (OEM) or compatible cartridge?
We sell both original OEM cartridges (made by the printer manufacturer, e.g. HP, Canon) and compatible cartridges (high-quality third-party alternatives). Compatible cartridges are engineered to meet or exceed OEM performance standards at a significantly lower cost — often saving you 40–70% per cartridge. Each product listing clearly states whether it is OEM or compatible.

7. What does "open box" mean?
Open box items are products that have been previously opened but are unused or lightly used, and have been inspected and verified to be in good working condition. They are sold at a discounted price compared to brand-new stock. The condition and any relevant notes are clearly stated on each open box listing. Open box items are a great way to save money without compromising on quality.
8. How do I extend the life of my cartridge?
Follow these simple tips to get the most out of your ink or toner cartridges:
- Print regularly: Printing at least once a week prevents ink from drying out in the nozzles.
- Use draft mode: For everyday documents, use draft or economy print mode to reduce ink consumption.
- Store cartridges correctly: Keep unused cartridges in their sealed packaging, stored upright at room temperature, away from direct sunlight.
- Run a nozzle check: If print quality drops, run a nozzle check and head cleaning cycle from your printer's maintenance menu before replacing the cartridge.
- Avoid switching cartridges frequently: Each time a cartridge is removed and reinserted, a small amount of ink is used in the priming process.
- Keep the printer on: Many modern printers run automatic maintenance cycles when powered on, which helps keep nozzles clear.
